In Syrrako, a beautiful village in Pindos, with traditional architecture and rich history, is the Stavraetos Gorge.
The name comes from the bird of the same name, which is constantly in the skies of Lakkos and Tzoumerka. The starting point of the canyoning activity is at the entrance of the village and ends at the Chrusya River. A total of 11 waterfalls with the smallest at 5 meters and the largest at 47!!!!
With impressive variations in morphology and geology.
It is a demanding canyon for experienced people, but also for all those who want to test their limits, because after canyoning, it requires walking down the river to our cars.
The incredible scenery, however, admittedly makes up for our efforts.
Note
It can be made easier if we bypass the big waterfall and use the escape, while still keeping the magic of the route.
