The underwater Elephant Cave is located in the Drepano area of Akrotiri, in the prefecture of Chania and outside the bay of Souda

For this dive site, we gather at the diving center located in Georgioupolis, just in front of Kalyvaki beach.

Course Objective During the PADI Open Water Diver course, you will learn the basic knowledge and skills necessary for safe diving, how to use your equipment properly and how to control your skills during open water ocean dives

With your PADI Open Water certification, you will be able to dive with another certified diver and reach a depth of 18 meters

 

Course content

Day 1:

Theory + Shallow Water Practice + Open Water Dive

Day 2:

Theory + Practice in shallow water + Open Water Dive

Day 3:

Shallow water practice + Open Water Dive

Day 4:

Shallow water practice + Open Water Dive

 

Children aged 10 to 14 will receive the PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, which will automatically change to adult certification when they turn 15

Divers between the ages of 12 and 14 are eligible for dives up to 18 metres, as are adult divers.

 

It includes:

4 practice dives in shallow water

4 Open Water Dives

5 hours of theory lessons

 

Prerequisites:

Minimum age limit: 10 years
