Excursion to Chelmos with Jeep 4×4 Claimed

historical village of Kalavryta. We depart and head towards the village of Souvardo, which is located at an altitude of 1,115 meters.

Hidden in the fir forest of Helmos, Souvardo offers visitors unique views of the Greek mountainous nature. Once we pass the village we enter forest roads and get lost in the enchanting nature of the National Park of Helmos-Vouraikos.

The route offers us unique images in the virgin environment of the area. We arrive at the amazing mountainous Lake Tsivlou with its deep blue waters. Here we have the opportunity to enjoy a real oasis on the slopes of Chelmos. We continue on abandoned mountain roads and end up at the river Krathi. On its banks we will have a pleasant break for a picnic with local delicacies!

After resting in the beautiful nature around the river, we will start our return journey. We will pass by the village of Peristera as well as the Kalavryta ski resort. This excursion is ideal for those who love nature and excursions with four-wheel drive vehicles!
