Kayaking in Koroni Claimed

Our journey starts from the sandy beach of Zaga beach near Koroni. Before departure, your guide will brief you on trip details, paddling techniques and safety measures. Soon we will get into the kayaks to start a coastal exploration at a leisurely pace. We will sail in crystal clear waters near the imposing castle walls overlooking the town of Koroni, which is built amphitheatrically over the hill. Across the way we see the highest peaks of the Taygetos rising from the water to the sky. Heading north, we sail our kayaks through rock gardens and reefs that shelter marine life. If we are lucky enough we will see the famous sea turtle Caretta Caretta swimming under our kayak. We continue paddling near imposing white chalk cliffs and discover hidden coves with some of the region’s golden sandy beaches. At the halfway point we make a relaxing stop at a beach for swimming and exploring with a mask and snorkel. Here you will also sample a delicious picnic with fresh local produce prepared by your guide. Once we have finished lunch we will return to the starting point to complete a wonderful excursion along the Coronese coast.
