Mountain Bike Tour Athens – Sounion Claimed

a constant altitude of 500m, cyclists have a view of the city of Athens and after about 7km, they can see the entire eastern side of Attica, all the way to Athens International Airport.

This pleasant ride continues to the cave of Peania, the “cave Koutouki” which is our first point of visit. The tour includes a transfer to the cave and a visit to a local winery.

After the stop, we continue to the Sounion National Park, where a 13 km walk with a steady downhill, straight and different terrain (dirt and asphalt), looking over ancient mineral distilleries, we reach the coastline.

Our van will be waiting to take us to the temple of Poseidon, where a quick tour will be offered before turning back.

Throughout the tour, there are scheduled stops for drinking water, resting and taking photos with Athens in the background. The safety van is always nearby in case of an emergency.
