The inflatable boats we use in rafting are of various sizes. A larger boat means more comfort and roominess but more weight and difficulty in manoeuvring. The boats we usually use in rafting accommodate up to 8 people and the guide (depending on the difficulty of the river).
Each boat has a safety valve (screwed), which is used to inflate or deflate the boat if necessary. The personal equipment provided includes the paddle, helmet and life jacket.
The driver will ask you to sit in the correct position, sharing the weight symmetrically. Make sure you sit comfortably in a way that does not prevent you from rowing.
During the ride, you should not make any sudden movements or shifts and changes of position because they can cause a minor accident (a “passenger” falling into the water). Be careful not to carry things in your pockets (unless they are zipped up) as well as items such as cameras, cameras, etc. which if dropped in the river may be lost.
