Horse riding in Penteli Claimed

First you will meet your partner horse on the ground where you will participate in preparing him for a ride. In our philosophy, grooming and spending time with the horses before the lift is part of the experience and will also make you more comfortable with each other! It's also a nice way for novice or nervous riders to get a feel for the horses, their behavior and also receive full instructions in a mini lesson on how to handle them, so both horse and rider feel safe during the ride.

The trail starts directly from our base farm in Marathon and leads us to the northeastern bank of Mount Penteli. After a few meters of road between the agricultural zone of Marathon we will meet the dirt road that will take us through olive trees and pine forest to the hills of Penteli where the land is covered mostly by low flora. From there the panoramic view of the historic bay of Marathon and the Evian Sea. In clear atmosphere you can see all the way to the island of Evia!

At a high point we will brake for the horses to eat the mountain grass they love so much and also to enjoy the view a little more while we stretch our legs. After we finish this circuitous route up the mountain through some hidden trails, we'll meet the dirt road again and begin to descend back down from there to our main farm.
