Hiking in the Fairy Cave on Mount Parnassos Claimed

 Livadi Arachova, where we meet with our vehicles. We follow our experienced guide for about 1 hour on a dirt road until we reach the forest path leading to the cave. Our route takes us through the lush green fir forest, which is adorned with hundreds of wildflowers! After leaving our vehicles, we hike for about 1 hour enjoying the stunning views of the valley.

The entrance of the cave is located on steep rocks of moderate difficulty. To get through the difficult passages, our guide secures you with the necessary equipment. In spring when the cave still holds enough water, the brave ones can walk in the icy water and visit 2 chambers! The stalagmites, stalactites and natural water basins make up a fairy-tale setting, in which one can easily envision the fairies enjoying their bath while singing.
