Our day starts after we pick you up from your hotel or from a point near the indicated hotel if access by car is not possible and we will follow the highway towards Chalkida. Chalkida is located on the long island of Evia and is well known for its "Crazy Waters", a unique phenomenon where the direction of the sea water changes every six hours and in the middle remains constant for ten minutes. After our short stop in Chalkida, we follow a route through villages and before the village of Steni, the part of our adventure begins, following a unique uncharted off-road route through the Kastanodas. Forested ridges, hills, a forest of chestnut and black pine that seems to go on forever, provide great opportunities for photo stops until we reach the Byzantine chapel of Panagia Aboudiotissa at the foot of the fir forest. A short visit to the chapel and the natural water springs provide an ideal setting for relaxation. Continuing our daily tour at the foothills of the Dirfys mountain range, we reach the village of Kambia and the chapel of Agia Kyriaki under fir trees and next to water springs. Continuing our daily tour crossing traditional villages on the slopes of Dirfys we whet our appetite as we reach the village of Steni. There we will visit a traditional Greek tavern where we will be greeted by the owner with plenty of Greek platters. After our lunch break, we will follow the road through villages to reach the village of Chalkida and from there we will follow the highway to Athens full of memories, with the best panoramic views of Evia and Kastania Dirfys, amazing photo opportunities to capture every single moment and the premium service of our escorts.
