enjoy nature and relax leaving behind the stress of the city. The Parnitha National Park is full of pine forests and fir trees. It is a real oasis for many species of wildlife, such as red deer, foxes and many species of birds, as well as the main escape for hot summer days and a huge snowy playground during the winter.
Our day starts after we pick you up from your hotel or from a point near the indicated hotel, if access by car is not possible. We will follow the highway leading to Parnitha and have our morning coffee, tea or juice en route. It will take less than an hour's drive to leave the noisy centre of Athens and enter the entrance to the mountains. Our first stop will be at an altitude of 600m, at Lake Beletsi which is an artificial lake that looks like it belongs in a fairy tale. The landscape looks like the Alps and does not remind us of Athens, Greece at all. Continuing our route to Parnitha we follow a unique off-road route through the full of pine trees, goats, chapels, monasteries and natural springs. After our little adventure, we will approach the village of Vlona. Crossing the village and heading forward, the mountain adventure begins again via an off-road route to the Vudima wildlife sanctuary. The uniqueness of the terrain, dense vegetation, rare species of endemic plants, various mammal and bird species spread over smaller or larger areas of the mountain. Reaching the western slope of Parnitha, a panoramic view of the Saronic Gulf with the islands of Salamina and Aegina will appear before our eyes. Then we head to the paved road, moving away enjoying the panoramic view of the Saronic Gulf from above. As we whet our appetite, we arrive at the village of Hasia. There we will visit a traditional Greek tavern where we will be welcomed by the owner. He will introduce us to Greek Mediterranean cuisine and warm Greek hospitality with many local Greek platters. After our lunch break, we will follow the road back to Athens through picturesque villages before arriving in the city of Athens.
The accompanying drivers of our premium off-road vehicles will create an unforgettable day with the best panoramic views of Mount Parnitha and amazing photo opportunities to capture every moment! A unique getaway and exciting adventure, embraced by acclaimed Greek hospitality as we enjoy the sights and professional yet relaxed service!!!

Parnitha is full of pine forests and fir trees. It is a real oasis for many species of wildlife, such as red deer, foxes and many species of birds, as well as the main escape for hot summer days and a huge snowy playground during winter.
Our day starts after we pick you up from your hotel or from a point near the indicated hotel, if access by car is not possible. We will follow the highway that leads to the village of Thracomacedones. From there we start climbing up the mountain, with a backdrop of a spectacular Attica and sparkling strips of sea. As we drive along the pine forest and pine trees, we are likely to encounter a red deer as it forages, or perhaps a Kri-Kri wild goat, perched on steep cliffs. Our first stop is at the "Park of Souls" just across the street from an abandoned hotel, a building whose original use was to serve as a sanitarium from 1912 to 1960. After our short stop there we continue our route until we reach the picturesque chapel of Agia Triada, built during the Byzantine era next to a spring and where many red deer find refuge for relaxation and drinking water. After our tour of the peaks of Parnitha, we arrive at the mountain refuge Bafi, located in the heart of the mountain. It is an organized and suitable place to receive visitors of all ages who can take advantage of the opportunity to relax in nature and discover the unique fir forest of Attica opposite the Parni National Park. Ample time is provided to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a snack either in the courtyard with its breathtaking views or by the fireplace in the refuge's lounge. After our break, we will make our way back to Athens enjoying the best panoramic view of Athens from above.
The accompanying drivers of our premium off road vehicles will create an unforgettable day with the best panoramic views of Mount Parnitha and amazing photo opportunities to capture every moment!
*Please note that during the summer period fire protection measures may be in place and access to Parnitha may be limited
